Quality Control & Inspection

 

Huaquan inspects CNC turned, milled and ground parts against their specified dimensions and machining requirements. Production checks, geometric measurement and finished-part inspection cover the features that determine fit and assembly.

 

Quality Control Throughout Production

 

Incoming material

Material identification and supplier certificates are checked against the specified grade and material condition. Incoming sampling addresses the material requirements of the part before stock is released for machining.

First-piece inspection

The initial machined part is measured to confirm the setup and machining program. Production proceeds from the verified first piece, with particular attention to features affected by locating and clamping.

In-process inspection

Periodic measurements monitor dimensional changes during turning, milling and grinding. Checks identify drift from tool wear or setup movement so that corrections take place at the machining operation.

 

 

Dimensional & Surface Inspection

Coordinate measurement, runout testing and roughness measurement address different requirements. A size result does not replace a geometric or surface-texture check.

Coordinate measurement

Coordinate measuring machines check feature sizes, hole positions and relationships between machined faces. Related features are evaluated using the datum references specified on the drawing.

Runout testing

Runout testing measures variation as a shaft rotates about the specified datum axis. Diameter and runout are assessed separately: meeting the size tolerance does not establish compliance with the runout limit.

Surface roughness measurement

Roughness meters verify the specified Ra value on machined and ground surfaces. The measurement follows the required surface location and evaluation conditions; surface appearance alone does not establish the roughness value.

 

Product-Specific CNC Inspection

 

Inspection focuses on the working features of each part: shaft seats and shoulders, mounting references, or ground mating surfaces.

Turned & turn-milled shafts

Bearing seats, shoulder locations and keyways are checked in relation to the shaft's working axis. On turn-milled parts, cross-holes and milled features are evaluated relative to the turned geometry, not as isolated dimensions.

Milled plates & supports

Mounting faces, locating bores and hole patterns are assessed as a set of assembly references. Thin plates receive attention to warpage, while structural supports require checks on the perpendicularity of adjoining reference faces.

Ground precision parts

Ground plates are checked for thickness consistency and parallel working faces. Ground shafts require separate checks on finished bearing-seat size and surface texture, after the specified grinding operations are complete.

 

 

Final Inspection Before Shipment

The last inspection concerns the finished order: completed parts, protected surfaces and an accurate shipment.

Finished-part acceptance

Final inspection verifies completed features, the specified finish and visible damage before packing. Customer-appointed third-party inspection is supported for independent verification of the agreed acceptance points.

Cleanliness & protection

Machining chips and loose residue must be cleared before packing. Protective wrapping and cushioning separate finished surfaces and exposed edges to prevent contact damage during transport.

Quantity & identification

The shipped quantity, part identification and packing list must agree. Mixed orders require clear separation between part numbers and production lots, including components that look similar.

 

 

Quality Traceability & Inspection Records

 

Retained inspection records provide the reference for reviewing completed work. Clear order and part identification keep that review tied to the correct component and production run.

Order, drawing & batch

A traceable record connects the part number and drawing revision with the production lot and delivery reference. These identifiers distinguish separate runs of the same design and locate the shipment under review.

Inspection results

Dimensional reports pair the inspected feature with its requirement and measured result. Request the required report format and inspection scope with the drawing so the documentation matches the order.

Discrepancy review

Send the order reference, affected quantity, feature location and measured result for a reported discrepancy. Review against the drawing and original inspection record establishes the basis for rework or replacement of confirmed nonconforming parts.
