CNC Machined Brackets

CNC Machined Brackets

CNC machined brackets are one-piece L-shaped, T-shaped, angled or irregular mounting members. They connect motors, instruments and fixture elements to automation stations, textile equipment and other machine assemblies.

CNC Machined Brackets

Core Advantages

No Welded Corner Joint

The bracket body is milled from stock rather than assembled from welded plates. Where two mounting legs meet, the transition remains within one piece of material, removing weld geometry and welding distortion from that joint while retaining the section defined by the drawing.

Coordinated Mounting Legs

Working faces and attachment holes are machined to the same bracket datum scheme. When an instrument mounts on one leg and the machine base attaches to the other, the relationship between those interfaces controls their assembled orientation rather than the shape of an unfinished blank.

Lower Moving Mass

6061 aluminum provides a lower-density alternative to steel for the same bracket geometry. On an instrument carriage or moving module, the lighter bracket contributes less mass to the axis and therefore less inertia during acceleration and deceleration.

Customization Capabilities

Bracket production follows the approved drawing or sample. We establish the mounting references, rough the body from stock and finish the working features in a planned sequence, with any change needed for cutter access confirmed before machining.

Customizable Items

  • Material alternatives: 304 stainless steel or 45# carbon steel
  • Body thickness: 3–20 mm
  • Leg length, width and mounting angle
  • L-shaped, T-shaped or special external geometry
  • Clearance holes and threaded connections
  • Chamfers and internal corner radii
  • Drawing-defined surface finish

Quality Control

  • Material certificates, hardness and blank condition are checked before production. The machining instructions identify which mounting face acts as the primary reference rather than treating both legs as independent parts.
  • The first bracket is checked by CMM for face relationships, angles and hole locations. In-process sampling follows features affected by reclamping or cutter wear, and any setup adjustment is verified before the next production pieces proceed.
  • All finished brackets receive an appearance and key-dimension inspection before packing. Inspection records identify the drawing revision and production lot; third-party inspection is supported for the completed order.

FAQ

Q: Can you supply a bracket sample before production?

A: Yes. Custom sample development takes 10 days.

Q: What are the payment terms for a custom bracket order?

A: Custom bracket orders require a 50% advance payment and a 50% balance.

Q: Which clearance should be shown around a recessed mounting screw?

A: Show both the screw-head clearance and the installation-tool envelope.

Q: Can one tightening torque be used for every bracket material?

A: No. Follow the fastening specification for the thread material, engagement length and fastener grade.
